Kinabase on the go!

Accessibility of your data is essential. That's why we have made Kinabase available on many different platforms and devices.

Kinabase is entirely web based. This means you can log in from any device with a browser, including mobile devices while out and about as well as from any office or home PC.

Different device, same data

If you are viewing your Kinabase account on different devices - say a mobile device while in a meeting and on your work PC at your desk - then you can be assured that the data you see will be the same. Changing a record on your desktop will also update your mobile view. In the same way, the screen will also respond to any changes made by your users, meaning that you're always seeing the most up to date data.

Multiple tabs for multiple views

If you need to see different views of Kinabase, this can easily be achieved by using your browser tabs. For example, you may want to keep a tab open for your Dashboard view, including latest activities, as well as view and work on your suppliers. This will then enable you to switch between the tabs, as required.

Mobile devices

When you access Kinabase on your mobile browser, you will find that the display is optimised to give you the best experience possible, together with the same functionality across all platforms.

For a great mobile experience, you can also add Kinabase to your device's home screen.

Android

  1. Open the web app in your mobile browser.
  2. Tap the menu button (usually represented by three dots or lines) in the top-right corner of the browser.
  3. From the menu options, select Add to Home Screen or Add shortcut (the exact wording may vary depending on the browser you're using).
  4. A dialog box will appear, allowing you to customise the name of the app or shortcut. Type in a name if desired, and then tap Add or OK.
  5. The web app will now be added to your home screen as an icon, similar to a regular app.

Apple

  1. Open the web app in your Safari browser.
  2. Tap the share button located at the bottom center of the screen. It resembles a square with an arrow pointing upward.
3. From the sharing options, scroll down until you see Add to Home Screen and tap on it.
  4. You may have the option to customize the name of the app or shortcut. If so, type in a name if desired, and then tap Add or Done.
  5. The web app will now be added to your home screen as an icon, similar to a regular app.

Now you can access Kinabase directly from your device's home screen, without having to open your browser and navigate to the website.
