Tasks Dashboard

The task dashboard helps you keep on top of your own tasks.

Every task that is assigned to you will appear here, in one place.

Please note our Tasks Dashboard is constantly evolving and improving to better suit your needs - so it might be our guidance here needs updating! Please let us know if you have any further questions.

Finding Your Tasks Dashboard

Here are some simple steps to find your Tasks Dashboard and sort your Tasks into useful groupings.

  1. Click on the Kinabase Dashboard button in the top left corner of your screen.
  2. Navigate to the “Overview” tab. Any tasks that have been assigned to you will appear here.
  3. If no tasks have been assigned and you’d like to add one, you can navigate to a task-enabled collection and open the tasks tab of a record. Click the “plus” sign to add a task, then click on the three dots on the right side of the task and click “add assignee.” This task will then populate in the user’s Task Dashboard page.

For tasks that have been assigned to you - simply right click and select open record to navigate to the associated record.

Group Your Tasks List

  • Once you’ve found your Tasks List and added relevant tasks, you can sort them by collection, record, due date, or status (in progress or not started).
  • Clicking on the title allows you to change the name of the task and clicking on the “in progress” circle moves the task to “completed” and removes it from your Task List.
  • You can also edit the due date, status, or assignee.
  • Or you can delete the Task by clicking on the three dots on the far ride side of the task.
Group tasks

Calendar view

You can also view your tasks on your Kinabase calendar.

  • On your dashboard, simply click Calendar.
  • This shows you tasks with due dates embedded into your calendar.
  • A task panel will appear on the right hand side - filter these as usual.
