Kinabase now lets you collect multiple signatures when a record changes stage, giving you versatile approvals without extra emails.

Need a customer to sign-off before a record moves forward? You can now collect, display and audit multiple signatures right inside each stage change, so approvals stay verifiable and fast.

Simply add a Signature action to any Workflow Stage and decide whose sign-off you require. Each signature is permanently attached to the record’s activity timeline, making audits effortless. No PDF downloads or back-and-forth emails – just tap, sign, done.

Why it matters:

• Collect every approval – request as many signatures as needed, from customers to auditors.
• Prove ownership – each signature is tied to the colleague and record for transparent trails.
• Speed up stage changes – sign directly in the confirmation modal; no file uploads.
• Stay audit-ready – signatures appear in the Activity feed alongside timestamps.

How it works:

1. Navigate to your Workflow configuration and open the Stage and Action which you want to add additional signatures to.
2. Then click on the Signatures tab and select “Add signature”, under Additional Signatures.
3. Write a label for your signature and choose who needs to sign – either auto-populate from a field or Enter name manually.
4. Set whether this signature is required, and provide additional instructions if desired.
5. Click confirm, then save to make your changes.
6. Now, when a record advances, multiple people sign in the Stage Confirmation modal and Kinabase logs each signature automatically.

When to use it:

• Manufacturing lead needs operator, supervisor and QA sign-off before shipping.
• HR manager collects employee and line-manager signatures during onboarding.
