Build automations faster with our new full-screen designer

Kinabase’s Automation management has been revamped: a spacious full-screen canvas, with clear tabs for - Editing, History and Schedules.

Plus a dedicated settings pages for Form-triggered flows — so you can design, test and deploy automations in fewer clicks. 

Design and maintain even the most complex Automation without feeling cramped. Our new full-screen Automation designer gives you room to think, clearer navigation and quicker access to schedules and run history, so you ship reliable workflows in record time. 

You now find Form-triggered flows in their own Settings pages, keeping operational logic separate from user-facing Forms.

  • See more, scroll less – A 50 % larger canvas fits more steps onscreen, so you map end-to-end logic at a glance. 
  • Switch context instantly – Tabs for Edit, History and Schedule keep everything one click away. 
  • Cut setup time – Smart defaults and an always-visible Save button reduce the average build time by 30 %. 
  • Stay organised – Form settings now live beside their Forms, reducing confusion for new team members. 

How it works:

  1. Open Settings (bottom left) and select Automations – All your Automations are listed here & grouped by their trigger types.
  2. Click on an existing Automation, or click ‘+Add Automation’. This will open your dedicated Automation builder page.
  3. Configure When & How your automation should run:
    • Provide basic information, details regarding when to trigger the automation, and what the automation does.
    • Use advanced reasoning such as conditional formatting where appropriate.
  4. Switch to the History tab to review past runs and gather statistics about your automations.
  5. Switch to the Schedule tab to review future automations, this tab is only relevant for time-date based triggers. 
  6. Once you’re happy with your automation click Save.

  • You own process automation for your organisation and need a bird’s-eye view of multi-step workflows.
