Our new image selector lets you browse records visually in any option dropdowns.
Simply configure your dropdown to show a thumbnail from an image field in those records. Then when using the dropdown, just click the picture to select the correct record – perfect for finishes, products, or staff profiles.

Choosing the right record in a form is now as simple as picking a picture. The new image selector displays thumbnails straight in the dropdown, so you spot the correct option instantly and keep work moving.
Need to match a laminate finish, select a product photo, or assign a teammate’s head-shot? Choose to show an image thumbnail on any record selector field and let the visuals guide you – no more guessing from text alone.
Why it matters:
- See at a glance – thumbnails turn long lists into an intuitive gallery.
- Cut selection time – users choose up to 40 % quicker in testing.
- Reduce mistakes – visual confirmation lowers mis-selections, keeping data clean.
- Works everywhere – available in records, collection forms, automations and portals.
How it works:
- Click edit on any Record Field in your form.
- In Input options, enable “Show image thumbnails” and pick the image field.
- Save the form. When users open the dropdown, a list of thumbnails appears – click any image to select its record.
When to use it:
- Material or colour libraries where each finish has a photo.
- Product catalogues that rely on visual identification.
- People directories that show colleague profile pictures.
