Can Kinabase replace a traditional ERP system?

Kinabase is not a traditional ERP, but it can serve as a flexible, custom ERP-style coordination system. Clients build exactly the collections and workflows they need—from work orders and BOMs to supplier management and quality records—without the rigidity or cost of legacy ERP software.

How does QR code tracking work?

Kinabase generates QR codes on document templates that link directly to records. Staff can scan QR codes with a mobile device to instantly pull up the relevant record. QR scanning is also available on record link fields for fast data entry. Direct printing to Zebra label printers is supported.

Can Kinabase connect to IoT devices?

Yes. The Kinabase REST API supports integration with IoT devices and other systems. Webhook automations can also push data to external endpoints in real time.
