Each user in Kinabase has a personalised Dashboard. It's typically the first page you see after logging in, and it combines multiple sections such as:

Home: An overview of your day, including pending tasks
Task
Something that needs to be done. Create and assign tasks to yourself or others, often linked to a specific Record.

Tasks: A dedicated tab showing your assigned tasks and upcoming deadlines.
Activities
Activity
A log of what's happened. This could be an event or note related to a Record, such as an email, call, or meeting.

An individual entry within a Collection, like a row in a database table, representing one item or entity.

A page or document that combines Charts, tables, and text to analyse and share insights.

Admins can add a company logo under Settings → Organisation Details to personalise the dashboard for everyone.

Key Dashboard Features

1. Home Tab

Displays tasks due today, upcoming tasks, and recent updates.
Offers Quick Add buttons to create new records in frequently used collections
Collection
A list of records in Kinabase, similar to a table in a spreadsheet or database.

2. Tasks Tab

Lists tasks assigned to you or your team, with filters
Filter
A set of conditions applied to a Collection or View to narrow down which Records are displayed.

3. Activities Tab

Shows a timeline of recent actions across the whole of your Kinabase - like calls, emails, or system-generated updates.
Easily filter by collection or date to find relevant interactions for tracability or for auditing purposes.

4. Reports Tab

Embed real-time charts or tables that pull data from any collection.
Track KPIs, project milestones, or performance metrics on a single screen.
Build custom reporting pages to reflect what you want to monitor most.

Customising Your Dashboard

Company Branding: Admins can upload a company logo to the Home tab, giving a consistent look and feel for the whole team.
Filter Tasks & Activities: Tailor the dashboard to show only your open tasks or specific activity types you care about.
Create a Task view: Customise your task list by creating a new view to show tasks that meet your specific criteria.
Add or Rearrange Widgets: Rearrange your quick-add widgets and graphs on your reports, by simply dragging them to reorder or resize them for better focus.
