Your orientation to Kinabase
1. What is Kinabase?
Kinabase is a data platform for running your organisation's day-to-day operations. You build collections
This section gets you oriented: what the core concepts mean, how to get into Kinabase, how to find your way around, and how to create your first collection.
2. How these support docs are organised
The support site is organised by area of the product, roughly in the order you'll need it:
- Getting started (you are here) - concepts, access, navigation, and your first collection.
- Setting up - the admin checklist for configuring a new organisation: branding, users, roles, integrations, data import.
- Your account - managing your own profile, sign-in, security and notifications.
- Collections, Fields, Records, Views - the data model in depth.
- Tasks, Activities, Calendar - day-to-day work tracking.
- Workflows, Automations, Forms - building processes.
- Reporting, Tools - dashboards, charts and data visualisation.
- Files & documents, Emails, Portals, Integrations, Accounting - connecting Kinabase to the rest of your organisation.
Each section has an index page like this one, giving you an overview and links to every article in that area.
