This creates a clear timeline and history for each record, helping everyone stay informed and accountable.
Activity Logs
When activities are turned on for a collection, each record has an activity log. This is a timeline of events and actions grouped by date. There is also an overarching activity log that collates all activities across Kinabase.
For a specific record:
Find the Appropriate Record
- Navigate to your collection using the sidebar
- Click on the record you are interested in
Open the Activity Tab
- In the Record details panel (on the right hand side) click on the activities tab underneath the record title.
View, Add or Search the Activity Log
- Click 'Add' to log a new activity
- Click the three dots ⋯ to log an activity from an email (see email-forwarding)
- Click the magnifying glass to search the activity log for a specific entry.
For all activities:
Navigate to your dashboard
- Click on 'Dashboard' at the top of the sidebar
Open the Activities Tab
- Click on the Activities tab at the top of your dashboard
View Activities
- Click 'All Activities' to view all the activities across Kinabase, or
- Click on specific collections below to see all the activities for that collection.
