Rank colleagues by performance using your collection data


Leaderboard ranks Colleague

s from your Collection using a selected numeric field from your records, so you can compare performance at a glance and highlight the top three on a podium.

Why use Leaderboard?

  • Track performance: rank colleagues using key metrics such as sales, completed tasks, or points.
  • Highlight top performers: quickly identify your top three contributors.
  • Support transparency: give teams a clear view of progress and outcomes.
  • Drive engagement: add friendly competition to recurring goals.

1. Prerequisites

Your collection needs at least one colleague field and one numeric field.


2. Using Leaderboard

1. Open Leaderboard

From your collection, click the Leaderboard icon in the toolbar to open it in the side pane.

2. Sort by ranking fields

Leaderboard shows your colleagues ranked by the default rank field and sort direction configured for the collection. Click a column header to change the sort field and direction.

3. View the rankings

Results are ordered by your selected metric, with the top three colleagues shown on the podium.

4. Refine results

Apply collection filters to focus the leaderboard on a specific team, period, or subset of records.


3. Example uses

Creative ways to use Leaderboard

  • Sales performance: rank reps by revenue, deals closed, or conversion totals.
  • Service delivery: compare support team members by resolved tickets or response targets.
  • Project execution: rank colleagues by completed tasks, story points, or milestones delivered.
  • Quality tracking: surface top contributors by quality score or review outcomes.
  • Engagement programs: track participation points for training, events, or internal initiatives.
  • Workload visibility: see who is handling the highest volume of assigned work.

4. Tips

  • Use meaningful metrics: select a numeric field that directly matches what you want to compare.
  • Filters apply: Leaderboard respects your current view filters, so you can rank specific teams or time periods.
  • Check field quality: ensure colleague and numeric fields are consistently populated for accurate rankings.
  • Record limit: Leaderboard displays a maximum of 500 records.

5. Enabling and configuring Leaderboard

Leaderboard is off by default. Select the collection, click the options menu (⋯), select Configure, then under Display, select Tools and turn on Leaderboard. See Enabling tools for the full walkthrough.

Leaderboard requires at least one colleague field and one numeric field in your collection.

Click the cog icon next to Leaderboard to set default fields and ranking direction for the collection:

  • Colleague field - the field to rank by.
  • Value fields - the fields to display as value columns. You can select up to five.
  • Rank field - the field used to rank colleagues.
  • Sort direction - Highest to lowest or Lowest to highest.

Click Save to apply your settings. These defaults apply whenever you open Leaderboard, but you can change the sort direction on the fly within the tool as well.
