Connect Kinabase to the tools your business already runs on
Kinabase rarely works alone. Most organisations connect it to their identity provider, their inbox, their file storage, their accounting system, and sometimes their own internal tools. This section is your map of everything Kinabase can connect to, and where to go to set each one up.
Most of these connections live in one place: Settings → Integrations. A few sit elsewhere - the API is under Settings → System, and Microsoft 365 sign-in is configured under Identity & Provisioning in Settings.
1. What Kinabase connects with
Single sign-on and automatic user sync through your organisation's existing Microsoft 365 account.
Forward emails into activities, work from the Link to Kinabase add-in, and send outbound emails from your own domain.
Store record files in your SharePoint document library instead of Kinabase's built-in storage.
Sync contacts, invoices and bills with Xero or QuickBooks, and collect payments with GoCardless.
Connect a Microsoft SQL Server or MySQL database so its data can be used alongside your Kinabase records.
Connect approved external systems to Kinabase, with separate technical documentation for developers.
Click a phone number on a record to start a call through your VoIP provider.
2. Building on top of Kinabase
If you're an implementation partner or developer building against Kinabase, use our developer documentation for the technical setup. The Kinabase API guide explains how a System admin registers and manages an integration.
